The International Atomic Energy Agency reported on Monday that Iran is continuing to defy efforts to rein in its renegade nuclear program.

"Based on an overall analysis... of all the information available, the agency remains concerned about the possible existence in Iran of past or current undisclosed nuclear related activities, involving military related organizations," an IAEA report stated.

It added that part of the program is "related to the development of a nuclear payload for a missile." The report went on to give details about how Iran has recently enriched at least 5.7 kilograms of UF6 (uranium hexafluoride) to nearly 20% purity and is continuing the enrichment at a rate of nearly 100 grams a day.

The report concluded that the Islamic republic "has not provided the necessary cooperation to permit the agency to confirm that all nuclear material in Iran is in peaceful activities."
