Sounding the Alarm in the USA

Gary Cooperberg, June 25, 2009

As always when I make these visits to the USA I find myself wondering why I am doing this. It seems absurd and futile to even hope to influence Jews to leave the comfortable American Exile to come home to our only homeland. In addition I find myself fulfilling the Jewish role to bring knowledge of G-d to the world. Yes, the very function of the Jew is to be the example to the nations, proving to them the existence of the G-d of Creation.

There is a growing trend in the world today, especially on the part of a small segment of the Christian community, to seek the Truth of our Bible as it was originally intended. People who call themselves Christian Zionists see the Jewish State as the beginning of fulfillment of Biblical prophesy. To me this is one more indication that the process of redemption is moving forward. This feeling impels me to encourage such people in their quest for Truth. When I speak before such groups I see genuine light in the eyes of the audience. Confirmation of what they already believe by the words of an observant Jew lifts their spirits and earns their gratitude. And it fills me with an overwhelming sense of fulfillment and confidence that I am truly serving G-d as we Jews are meant to serve Him.

As I write this I am on a plane from Houston to Kentucky. I have been invited by one of my readers who has gone out of her way to arrange two speaking engagements for me. This is truly an adventure as I have never been in Kentucky before nor do I even know what kind of audience I may expect. Yet this is all part of the "magic" involved in this endeavor. I know that I am accompanied by "angels" and am confident that my work is blessed. It is strange and hard to explain but I just know that the path has already been cleared before me and that all will go well.

Project Shofar exists solely for the purpose of sounding the alarm to make people aware of the ongoing process of Biblical Redemption. It may be an impossible goal, but the very effort is its own reward. I owe a deep debt of gratitude to all those who have given me support and enabled me to carry on with a mission that otherwise could never be carried out. All of you are my partners and deserve a full share of credit for any worthy results which may come from these visits.
